Are you into Crypto?

Last summer I began using crypto to move money, and to invest earnings from my Human Design work into the blockchain world.

It began slowly at first, a little here, a little there, whenever I could, dollar cost averaging into the cryptocurrency market. Then last November I did my first trade successfully and truly got on board, feeling comfortable enough to let my online tribe know that this was the direction I was going personally.

This experience reminds me of my early days in HD, years before Pluto moved into the Gate of Mystery. HD wasn't nearly as popular as it is now! Those of us with strong 5th lines tend to recognize the new trends coming before others do. My 5/1 husband knew about HD a few years before I did, and his embrace of crypto is what lead me in this direction as well.

As a 3/5 Cross of Contagion, I'm always trying new things and seeing what doesn't work and what does. I'm not scared of making a fool out of myself by experimenting with weird and wacky or out-of-the-norm things. More and more, crypto is going mainstream and I feel comfortable with buying, holding, and using it.

A couple of weeks ago I got to pay one of my team members in crypto, and it felt awesome.

Right now, when I accept digital fiat dollars from a client, I pay a processing fee from Stripe or Paypal, depending on what they choose at checkout on one site (this site only accepts Stripe). Getting the remainder to the bank takes about 5 days unless I want to pay a fee. Then, to get the money from the bank to my team/teachers, I have to pay another fee, and then they have to wait to get it to their bank accounts. When there is an alternative like crypto, this process is really inefficient, expensive and S L O W comparatively.

With crypto, money takes seconds, not days, and costs pennies, not dollars to send.

Yes, there are challenges, but together we can learn, share, and grow. I feel it is time to let go of the old, and embrace the new.
