Three Foundational Courses

These courses are appropriate for newcomers and the general public. They provide a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental aspects of the Human Design System. They also are a prerequisite for further Professional training. Taught by highly educated, Internationally Certified Human Design System Professionals dedicated to sharing the spark of awareness that Ra Uru Hu lit for us.

LIVING YOUR DESIGN

This is the most important class you can take in the entire system. Provides a solid introduction to the main components to know about the Human Design System, our nine energy Centers, the four Auric Types and their Strategy for when to decide, inner/personal Authority so you know how to decide and support in your individual process of living your Human Design successfully.

Also known as the Living Your Design Guide Success Training class, this is Laveena’s unique version of implementing the Human Design System language in a way that is efficient, effective and productive when it comes to breaking through the darkness of illusion and delusion most of the world suffers from due to mid-identification with the madness of the normal mind.

This course includes three different and distinct components that can be done in one semester or spread out over two or three, depending on your time availability. First, there are lectures and class discussions, second you will audit an LYD by the guide of your choice and meet after class for discussion, and third there is a Practicum component where you practice delivery of the knowledge and receive feedback from us.

Professional Training Level III - Incarnation Crosses Analysis

Covers Incarnation Crosses over two semesters and teaches how to uncover the true self and the shadow self expressions of the Cross. You’ll also learn techniques for successfully incorporating these fundamental keys to a person’s highest purpose in life by explaining and synthesizing the dynamic aspects according to the holistic themes of the design into readings using correct keynoting that resonates with your client and helps them on their path of awakening.

Professional Training Level IV Preparation and Final Test

PTL-IV is the final level of the professional training to become a certified Human Design Analyst. The goal of PTL-IV is to guide and mentor you as you prepare for submitting your final reading to the testing Board for certification. During the course of the semester, we will work together on honing your reading skills. We will look at the structure and organization of your individual client readings.

Each Analyst is unique and has their own style for interacting with clients. However, there is basic material that must be covered in every reading with a new client. We will discover your preference and dynamics for delivering that information in a reading.

A reading is a synthesis of your years of training in the knowledge of Design and the art of delivering that knowledge. We will explore through examples and practice readings each week all the key elements necessary to introduce a client to their Human Design. This class is a workshop style class. It will be very interactive with each participant. You will have many chances to practice your reading skills. Each student will add to the richness of the class. Not only will you get to practice your style, but you'll get to see and benefit from the other class participants styles.

The schedule is 10 weeks in Class followed by a 4-week time frame of refinement for the final Certification Foundation Reading Exam submittal.

Testing fees for certification by the IHDS Standards Board are in addition to this course.  

Endowments are not available for this course.

Pre-Requisites: Completion of  PTL I, PTL II and PTL III including all assignments (Partnership, Solar Return and Incarnation Cross Analysis Assignments) must be completed.

  • We suggest to begin with the Living Your Design (LYD) Program. The LYD is the most important class you can take in Human Design, where you get a solid introduction to the main components of this system and have a Guide take you through a personal experience of your own design. This experience is designed to initiate the process of cellular renewal, where you get the opportunity to effectively deconstruct the conditioning of your mind, a process of shattering of the not-self so you can start to awaken to your own true nature. This course is also a prerequisite for many other programs as well as the first step into the Human Design Educational Path, for those who really want to dive deep into understanding themselves and others and, potentially, become certified professionals themselves.

  • The traditional Human Design path, which consists of the LYD, Rave ABCs and Rave Cartography courses, is geared towards taking a person 'to higher levels of awareness and consciousness - the spiritual aspects of awakening and the mechanics of the Maia.' Only after completing these 3 foundation programs can you go on to get certified as a Human Design Guide or as a Professional Analyst, for example. If you go through these 3 IHDS Foundational courses you would be able to get the audit pricing on the BG5 Foundations in order to get certified as a BG5 Consultant.

    As for the BG5 Foundation classes, these are highly condensed and compacted from the HD Foundation courses of 30+ classes into only 20 classes, offered in 2 Semesters by the BG5 Institute. As you won't go as deep into the information in these 2 Semesters as you would with the 3 HD foundation courses, you wouldn't be able to go on to get certified through the IHDS Institute with just the BG5 Foundations, you'd still need to go through the LYD, ABC's and Cartography to get any certification with IHDS.

    The BG5 path is to help people improve their bottom line in business. At the end of his life Ra taught the aspects of design that controls and homogenizes others for a better bottom line. In his words, with BG5 you leave the “white magic” spirituality path of Human Design to learn how to perform the “black magic” that can help people cope with being homogenized at work. A friend of mine called it being “happy greased cogs in the wheel” of business. If money is your thing and you want to help others make money, it may be correct for you to choose the BG5 path to help others or yourself in career and business.

    If you plan to get any certification with IHDS, you'll need to go through the LYD, ABC's and Cartography programs; they are prerequisites. If you intend to go through both the BG5 and IHDS paths, then you might find it more advantageous to first go through one or the other first, so that you might benefit from a reduced audit price when taking the the other’s Foundation courses. In other words, there is audit pricing for BG5 Foundations students to take HD Foundations classes, and vice versa. As long as you took your classes from a BG5BI or IHDS teacher in good standing. Email us with your classes completed and teacher’s name to receive the appropriate discounts.

  • We suggest you start by reading about the Human Design Educational path on our Human Design Life Coaching website. This will give you a broad view about each of the Foundation courses (Living Your Design, Rave ABC's and Rave Cartography) that are a prerequisite (together with the Foundation Reading) to getting certified as a Living Your Design Guide, or a Professional Analyst.

    These Foundation courses are also a prerequisite to getting the BG5 Certification (linked in the same website provided above) which is a program that's leveraging Human Design knowledge towards Business, Career & Money specifically.

The three Human Design Foundational Courses above were condensed and compacted into 20 classes in two semesters offered by the BG5 Institute. Laveena is a Certified IHDS teacher of both the HD Foundations and the BG5 Foundations; taking the HD Foundations classes above qualifies you to get the audit pricing on the BG5 Foundations in order to get certified as a BG5 Consultant should it be correct for you. (BG5 no longer accepts HD courses as equivalent for Foundations, because of the international accreditation process they just received)
